Value of Knowledge
How much is knowledge worth when you can longer communicate with those with less actual education?
Can knowledge make us humble? Or does it leave us arrogant?
Honourable seems to be the descriptor of using knowledge to help give opportunities and education to other people.
I feel detached from my own family, as I am the only one in many generations to have access to a university education. Yet, in some instances I feel bad, or i feel imposing of my ideas, my runabout ways of doing things.
Supposedly I have transformed. I feel better, more aware, more consciouse, more in control, but never so distant from my loved ones.
Maybe this is just the way it is, a lesson in humbleness, a way to ground myself to my roots, to where I came from. That I can never forget, it will always be a part of me.
to the pursuit of knowledge... it is in the scriptures for me, but not for all. This I accept. Life, as they say, i what you make of it.
