Neoka's Song

When everything is in harmony, there is no chaos. When the world chants, we listen. When the birds sing, spring rises. When the winds blow, we feel the rhythm move us... Life is a song, and I intend to share it with you.

tests

Life is a test. each moment that passes us by, testing us and preparing us for the next.
test by test we experience this so called life.

Sometimes things seem to be hard. Really hard.
For some it breaks, for some it mends.
All I know is that it will end. Tomorrow will come again.
These lessons taught, pains felt and times being pushed to the ground and dirt thrown upon you.
Shall become a new new light.
All reason is reason learnt.

In a mans Journey to be. it wont be easy.
but it will be. 2 be.

Today I wake

Wrote his when i was 14... amazing how relevent it still is today.

The End

The Future is abyss
Empty in it's kiss
Longing to forgive
To those who greedily live

So why can't we see
How strong it could be
This world ruled in fear
Washed away by a glowing tear

It's that fear I keep inside
That drives me to always hide
From all the passions I've had
To the dreams that were mad

Those dreams I never spoke of
Depressed my feelings for love
Kept inside my fiery mind
I pushed away all my kind

In the end we only win
Forgiven of all sin
Soon the night rushes in
Another day will Begin

In the morrow I wake
Not for anothers sake
But to see another day
Another price to pay

Alone I stand
Neither raise my hand
United I fall
Unable to call

Never have I seen the dove
Questioning the power of love
To end the madness
Instead of living in a world of sadness

The light they say, is warming
Yet we all come, swarming
We don't stop to think
To fix the broken link

Why am I here
There is nothing to fear
Just let the dove fly from your hand
It will lead you to the promised land

Today I wake

How do you motivate a realist?

A true realist perspective tends to based their woltenshuung (world view) around facts and power stuggle relations.
So does one dangle the ability to climb the corporate ladder, a quick way into the world of power and prestige?

What if thats not what they want? What if they just want a place in the world, and have no desire for the fluffy ideas of saving it or contributing to the greater good, since to a realist that technically doesnt exist, a social hiearchy of those that can achieve and maintain power are the fittest for survival, and thats that.

I guess there is something to be said for that outlook though, consider development work.
A noble act, one can find pleasure in helping those that are less fortunate or unable to care for themelves because they were born into a society of under-priviledge. But then who are we kidding? By walking into a small village and telling people, "This is not the way to live your life, THIS is the way" (of course refering to ones own perseption of the world, specifically that of a "developed" country)

So we can't go in and help them, because it only suppresses them more, creates more class division and assimilation, but we cannot leave them either, for many do need our help, and it should be the job of the priveldged to help those in need, thus restore balance.

What is the solution?
