fast forward
there is far too much to update. so I am fast forwarding to now.
Im in Frankfurt Germany.
WHAAAt? yes. Germany :) staying with a good friend Marcus, one of the founders of AIESEC in Afghanistan.
Its been a couple days, filled with long talks about AIESEC politics, world politics, women in the middle east and south asia, to things that really move us in life, and how much control do we really have in our destinies.
Uts been a very inspiring and deep conversation, has left me quite reflective in fact.
Whats the next move for Kurt? Do I stay in AIESEC, see how far this rabbit hole goes... or is it time to collect my winnings and jump into a new adventure all together.
Whatever the choice may be, I know that i DONT know where I will be living this time next year. Beautiful.
random note: Germany has automated Video rental stores! push a few buttons and out pops your DVD. ingenious! blockbuster beware... im amazed at all this advancement in technology, where have I been all these years?
so i was contemplating my next move. I know that it will include something I love doing, plus making money. i know, everyones dream. But seriously! Interest is killing me! damned expensive education. Isnt there a save the world grant foundation? They pay my debt while I go save the world.
Ok I have to stop that idealism thing im doing again. damnit.
On a serious note, the fact that im thinking of this now, 3months into my term is weird, but smart. IC had quite an impact on my personal reflection and motivation skills. It brought a lot back, and helped framed a lot of my perseptions.
Now I am off to Canada for 2 weeks, to renew my Visa. we'll see what adventures await me there. I honestly cant wait to be back home in Karachi though. I miss it and my excitement to work has never been higher!

"AIESECers are leaders who have a clear idea of what they want to achive in their lives... but don't have a clue of what they are gonna be doing next year".
