Thank you for the link mate, I've downloaded it and am going to set aside time to look through it. I'm already preparing myself... I don't like to read this sort of stuff because it is confronting and because I feel strongly about it. Weird position to be in. I could go on and ignore it - not read it and reduce my exposure to it so that I don't think about the issues so much, but in reading it it'll probably bring tears to my eyes and make my mind race at what I can do. Do others feel the same way?

It does have successes and achievements in it, of course, but the sadning thing is that there is still so much to do, and so many children living in conditions unimaginable.
Its a great document to draw upon for research and the like, but its thick with bureaucratic talk.
that last senatance you wrote.. knowledge is power reminded me of the 'slogan' for the university of Dar es Salaam.. Hekima ni Uhuru.. Knowledge is Freedom.
